Autumn Colours

by Rabia Patel

All the colours of gold

Walking along the wall

Cold crisp autumn air

Frosts on the lawn stare

Rustling in the wind

Dry leaves around the tin

Yellow glows on the trees

Autumn shakes in the breeze

Sweeping piles swish

Along the pathway, whoosh

Autumn brings the sleep

Darkness begins to sweep.

A creation magnificent

If only humans could be so efficient.
